SOLAR PLEXUS. This artwork was born when I was on a shamanic drum journey in January 2023. At first, the entire drumming session felt too powerful in my body, but eventually, I surrendered to the rhythm. In that moment, I found myself in a vivid imagination of a lush, emerald-green mossy forest, running with determination, aware of every step I took, and no one could surprise me. I was either a deer or a human; I'm not sure which. I eventually arrived at a large clearing with a roaring bonfire. I witnessed a primal woman dancing freely and wildly around the bonfire. It dawned on me that I was watching myself dance. The vision ended there.
After the drum journey, I knew that this vision had to be painted, and it symbolizes the Solar Plexus, willpower, self-confidence, and joy. I realized that I have always achieved what I dream of. To reach my goals, it takes willpower and that famous first step, the movement, toward the destination.
